Where love comes from....

I often write of how my kids inspire me, about how gardening moves me...


but I wouldn't be able to be inspired 


or moved


without the L❤ve

of my own parents.


They taught us to work hard...


....to be kind and compassionate....

.....and most of all, to laugh.

  1. My dad wasn't perfect, in fact, he had a lot of faults. But, I was fortunate to adopt his best qualities rather than his worst. And my mother was a little mouse (a lovely mouse) who instilled in me some of my best qualities. Thank you for making me think about them today.

  7. Oh my dear, what a GORGEOUS TRIBUTE. Our parents are the ones who made us who we are and I miss mine so much. You sweet, sweet person, YOU TO PUT MY CARD ON YOUR SIDEBAR!!!! I have another little girl I drew that I really love but I have to make the card still in order to put her in my shop. She is however, on my sidebar. She is brunette with a yellow and red dress with a bouquet in her arms!

      As did your cards...I love to highlight favorite Etsy items and give a link...you are so talented!
      Can't wait to see the new ones!

      Yes, we grow lavender....as well as MANY veggies and flowers....you will get tired of my garden photos as spring/summer arrive.

      I am back to work in a few more weeks (teaching) and will have much less blogging time....I am enjoying the time and resting up!
