When I was playing around with burlap the other day, I placed this
chartreuse button mum on a bag, and suddenly it came to life!

No, I'm not planning a wedding...but what fun it must be to plan a wedding today...so many ideas...
We will keep you posted on the blizzard :)

The photos are beautiful and inspiring!
ReplyDeletePlease do stay safe and warm during the blizzard and perhaps give us some updates. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. xo
Thanks Sherri...we are good and have power back now :)
DeleteHi ND! I enjoyed your post. My niece and nephew got married in Waikiki last July, and they used the color scheme in the hydrangea picture ~ to work with the MacBeath tartan my nephew was wearing. It is a gorgeous combination of colors. Please stay safe in the storm! I'm thinking of everyone back east.
ReplyDeleteNi FB...we are back in business! Thanks!
DeleteOh go ahead, plan a wedding...you know you want to!! LOVELY photos, really gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThat storm is so much in the news. Stay warm and stay inside!!
DeleteI would love to Kay...just don't know whose! We are warm now, thanks!
Beautiful! I love the mix of the green/blue flowers.

DeleteThose are my favorites too!
A generator is worth every penny when ice or snowstorms blow, if for peace of mind only. We had one installed this year and recently used it for a night and half a day. I was so happy. Though we haven't had any bad winter weather this year, I'll take a tornado over an ice storm. Stay warm and don't shovel too much snow.

DeleteYou are right...wish we had a generator!
What a pleasure to have found you today! I find your space here so charming and unique! Personally speaking I am a lover of pink but, the combination of that particular shade of green with blue is possibly my favourite colour scheme of all. It radiates flourishing nature and harmony and would seem perfectly adapted therefore to a wedding!
ReplyDeleteWarmest greetings from snowy France,

A lovely post with lots of nice images.
ReplyDeleteWhat really stood out for me was the way that the greens made the blue of the hydrangea jump right out at you. A startling image. I am going to remember that.
Stay safe!
Kirk
DeleteI agree Kirk, I love the way the hydrangea and greens play off of one another! We are warming up!
