Fridays with Edna and Eva - War Cake

I am going to start sharing a recipe from my grandmother's recipe box each Friday. There are also recipes mixed in from my great-grandmother. Many of these are from the 40's and 50's.  I will just post the recipe cards....interpret as you see fit :)

....and if you try any...please share!

  2. That looks like my Nan's writing - I have a few of her old recipes that I have kept & make from time to time.
    Ps we are almost the same age - I am 47 in March - I still feel like I'm 25 though!

      I'm with you...still feel 25...and luckily, I don't really look 47 yet....hope that lasts a while!
