An Update....

Garlic Scape Pesto

Here's the amazing pesto made from garlic scapes that I was talking about this morning....I am on my umpteenth batch...the house smells amazing! Kevin Lee Jacobs shares it on his fabulous website, A Garden for the House. We have been dipping crackers in it...but I can't wait to pull a batch out of the freezer for pasta!

  1. Thanks for sharing. Sounds delicious on pasta too! I make a chicken recipe that I use pesto and goat cheese in chicken breasts. It is to die for!

  2. I just love pesto - in sandwiches, mixed through pasta or simply tossed through green vegies to add a bit of flavour. It's even better when it's homemade!
    Thank-you so much for your very, very sweet offer of sending out the book for me but I'll be able to get it here - I just need to do a bit of research & I haven't got round to it yet. It was the lovliest thought though ...truly appreciated!
