Calgon, Take Me Away

My sister's 46th b-day party.
Retirement party.
Grades due. (Grrr.)
Anniversary party.
Another retirement party.
8th grade graduation.
A sprinkling of baseball games.

Ok, and this is during the week, not on the weekend.

So, I guess this will be a watch the laundry, dishes, and toys on the floor pile up week, right?

And at some point I will actually get the veggie plants into the garden. maybe.

But I only have a week left of school, and then I can get my act together. Hopefully.

  1. My week last week into this week! Way too much going on! Two more days of school for us. My motto this summer to my children; "One day at a time". Cliche, I know!

  2. Everything seems to pile up at the end of the school year, doesn't it? Grrrr. I wish you luck in getting through it all, with a smile on your face, no less. :)

  3. Wow! You are going to have a super busy week! Hopefully the fun parties will balance out the grade being due. Our veggie plants have grown about one inch since I got them in the ground. We really need some sun!!

  4. Oh, girl. I think I'd be freaking out! Oh, and if you wish you can "officially" follow me on my other (new) blog, I've got the widget up there.

  5. Good luck getting through the week! Just take one day at a time, and before you know it...you will have made it through. :) I'll be praying for you!

  6. It sounds like everyone is crazy busy right now. Some of those events sound like they could be enjoyable though (maybe not the grades). I hope they go okay!

  7. I know exactly what you mean! Tomorrow is my last day and I'm so looking forward to some down time with my family and getting my home back in order.

    Good luck!

  8. The end of the school year is always so busy! I don't have children but I know that my friends who do are very busy because I can't make plans with them until July! Good luck with everything :)

  9. Oh my goodness, what a wonderful group of friends! Such support. I am very lucky! My week is actually flowing pretty well. Schools is a bit crazy, as I have to move my classroom; but I even had time to plant 50+ tomato plants, a variety of peppers, and eggplant. Still have to plant squash, pumpkins, cucumbers, celery, corn, etc...So cute to watch my kids planting onions today. Your thoughts are carrying me through.

  10. Followed your link from another blog and really enjoyed all the Nantucket beachy posts, for those of us who love this region, you have done a great job of showing off the best of the lifestyle.
